((Dr. Archer's Interview))

This side story supported Siqua's forgiving relationship with Gaster, and highlighted all of their dynamics. Most importantly, it shows the first time Alphys met Siqua! Love at first sight!

((It had been years since Alphys stepped into a lab. Her hands trembled in anticipation: an odd mix of excitement and nervousness. But, that was for later. For now, she followed Dr. Gaster down the winding hallway. A silent man, he is. Hasn't spoken at all.

After what felt like an eternity, Alphys and Dr. Gaster finally reached the end of the hallway. In front of them was a door, simply labeled "Dr. Archer: Handman". The door opened, and as Alphys braced herself for the struggles of social interaction, her worries suddenly disappeared. The door revealed the most beautiful woman she'd ever seen.

"Make yourself comfortable" The beautiful woman gestured to a chair at her desk, and Alphys sat. Voice trembling, she said, "H-hello, Dr. Archer, I'm... D-Dr. Alphys??" The woman laughed; a closed-mouth giggle, "No need for such politeness! Go ahead and call me Siqua. I have a feeling we will get along just fine. Oh, and don't mind Gaster's bluntness. Don't tell him I said this, but he's just shy."

Siqua was perfect. She was so gentle, so soft, yet she consistently lured a commanding presence. Siqua went on to explain that, since Gaster was too shy to conduct the interview, Siqua decided to take it off his hands. Alphys couldn't believe how hard she was falling for this perfect stranger. Siqua added at the end of the interview with a playful grin, "Gaster is a sweetheart once you get to know him. But steer clear when he doesn't have his coffee, hmhm!"))
