Siqua's parenting style has been an interesting topic of discussion. I would categorize her as "child-led", with a tendency to lean permissive. Some think she's a little too permissive, but others disagree. Especially later in the series, her parenting style is further elaborated on; she is very protective of Undyne, and (especially due to the world they live in) supervises her majority of the time.
