Alphys- "Are you having a bad hair day? Is that why you don't want me to see you?"

Toriel- (with a laugh) "I don't have hair."

Alphys- "Oh, y-yeah. N-neither do I... I wish I did, though! If I had hair, I would have such intricate styles-- a new one each day. I used to want to be a hairdresser, actually, when I was a kid, but so little monsters have hair that I concluded it wouldn't be profitable. I like science more, anyhow."

Toriel- (sigh) "... Why don't you come in?"
