Sans reading to Papyrus is clearly something they do often (based off of how Sans reads bedtime stories to Papyrus in UT). I really wanted to keep this in BTA because it's not something you expect the younger sibling to do, and highlights their nuanced dynamic.
This book must have been assigned to him by Gaster. Makes sense.
As mentioned before, when Sans quotes something, he is usually saying it with another meaning in mind. We know he is quoting, because he immediately closes the book ;-;
Sans has a heart-to-heart the only way he knows how; reiterating somebody else's words... (childpsychologywhat?)
